FAQ

I'm a dev and/or part of a studio. How can I contact you about potentially checking out my game?

You can send me the details via email. If your game has GenAI (ex. images, music, etc), know it's an automatic "no". Please keep in mind that I am not obligated to stream and/or make a video about your game. If I have time, I may email you with some feedback, but no guarantees. If your game is already released, and the demo has been removed, I may ask for a key. If you're not willing to give a key, state that up front.

Is there any specific criteria you look for when considering games?

There are three things I look at when determining if a game might appeal to me: art, story, and gameplay (bonus if there's good music). I prefer playing on controller (I use Playstation controllers), but am ok with using keyboard & mouse as long as the controls aren't complex and has too many combinations.

Are there any specific genres that you prefer?

RPG/JRPGs, simulation, RPG Maker (usually horror kind), visual novel (depends). I don't mind checking out games outside of those genres if it appeals to me. I usually like anything story rich and with interesting themes.

To get an idea of what kind of games you play/like, can you tell me some of your favorites?

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep, Nier Automata, Cemetery Mary, Expedition 33, OMORI, Beacon Pines, A Space for the Unbound, Rune Factory 4, Rune Factory: Tides of Destiny, Blue Reflection Series, Persona Series (3, 4, 5), Pokémon, Reverse:1999, The Gray Garden, Wadanohara and The Great Blue Sea, Octopath Traveler, Legend of Zelda: BOTW (Breath of the Wild), Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

Do you have other platforms aside from PC?

Nintendo Switch and Playstation 5

Do you only play indie games?

No. I don't have anything against bigger names. I just like showcasing games that aren't well-known.

Why do you mainly focus on indie games?

Before I started streaming, I had a laptop that couldn't run most games. The only ones I could play were from Itchio. I discovered a lot of unique and cool games that I wouldn't have otherwise if I only played what was trending or popular. I do play well-known games sometimes, but I don't play them because of other people. I play them because it seemed interesting to me and I wanted to check it out. Just because something is worth the hype to someone else, doesn't mean it'll be worth the hype to me.

English is not my native and/or first language, but my game has English translation. Is it okay if it's not perfect?

Of course!
